This past week we have been learning about story elements. Today we read a story and then drew a picture of two characters from the book.
Amish Acres
We enjoyed our field trip to Amish Acres! While there we learned how the Amish live, how to make apple cider, helped make apple butter, and visited an old farmhouse and schoolhouse.
We did some apple activities at the end of September. Below are pictures of a craft we made. We showed what apple trees look like in the different seasons. We also made a graph showing how many students enjoyed apple cider or apple juice. Students helped make applesauce and wrote a paper about the different steps needed to make applesauce.
