We recently read about habitats and wrote an advertisement to convince people to visit the tropical rain forest. I gave the students the chance to make a commercial to share the reasons why they think people should visit the tropical rain forest. One student volunteered to direct the commercial and another volunteered to film it. The students really took charge in creating this short video. Leadership skills were developed and teamwork occurred. I was proud of how they worked together.
